Official Release of CityGuide Mobile

On January 17th, 2006 CityGuide Mobile was presented to the public at a press conference in the Kaiserslautern city council hall. Among others, the Lord Mayor of Kaiserslautern and the Rhineland-Palatinate government representative for the 2006 World Cup were present.

CityGuide Mobile on the Intergeo 2005

From 4 to 6 October CityGuide Mobile was the official navigation system for the Intergeo 2005 in Düsseldorf! The Intergeo is the world's largest trade fair for geodesy, geoinformation and land management.

CityGuide Mobile is an interactive and innovative navigation system for pedestrians requiring just a standard mobile phone or handheld computer.

With CityGuide Mobile users can select a city's facilities purposefully from the complete spectrum offered.

CityGuide Mobile is being developed for the coming 2006 FIFA World Cup™ in Germany. The design of the system is being financially supported by the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate with a grant of € 100,000 out of the multimedia initiative rlp-inform fund within the multimedia competition "Media in Motion".

CityGuide Mobile is based on CityGuide DMS technology and is a coproduction of:
